THRYVE Wellness Medical provides provider-directed diagnostics and biomarker testing to eligible patients in Texas, North Carolina and South Carolina. Based on your consultation, health history and clinical needs, your provider may recommend testing to answer a specific question or inform an appropriate next step.
Collection options depend on the ordered test and your location. Your provider reviews relevant results alongside the rest of your clinical information and discusses what they may mean for your care.
What Are Advanced Diagnostics and Biomarker Tests?
Biomarker testing measures selected characteristics in blood, urine or other specimens that may provide information about a particular aspect of health.
Depending on the clinical question, a provider may recommend routine tests, additional biomarkers or both. Results are considered alongside symptoms, medical history, medications and other relevant clinical information.
Routine Laboratory Testing
Routine laboratory testing remains an important part of preventive and diagnostic care.
Additional Biomarker Testing
In selected circumstances, a provider may recommend additional biomarkers to investigate a specific concern or monitor care.
More testing is not automatically better, and additional testing does not replace routine medical evaluation.

Depending on your health history, clinical needs and the testing currently available through THRYVE, your provider may consider testing in areas such as:
- Metabolic Health: markers related to blood sugar regulation and related metabolic processes.
- Hormonal Health: markers related to hormone levels that may relate to energy, mood or other symptoms.
- Cardiovascular Health: markers related to cardiovascular risk factors.
- Nutritional Health: markers related to nutrient status.
- Thyroid Health: markers related to thyroid function.
- Inflammatory Markers: markers associated with inflammatory processes in the body.
Your provider determines which areas are relevant for you based on your health history, clinical needs and goals.
Why Provider Interpretation Matters
Your provider considers relevant results alongside your symptoms, health history, medications and other clinical information. A result may help guide monitoring, further evaluation, referral or another appropriate next step. A single laboratory value does not establish a diagnosis by itself.
At-Home Collection
Certain tests may offer an at-home collection option. If at-home collection is available for your ordered test, you will receive instructions explaining how to prepare, collect the specimen and return it for processing. Other tests may require mobile phlebotomy or another collection arrangement.
Mobile Phlebotomy
Some blood tests may be eligible for mobile phlebotomy, subject to availability in your area. A qualified professional collects the specimen at an approved location and arranges its transfer for laboratory processing. Your care team will confirm whether mobile collection is available for your test and location.

Your provider reviews relevant results in context and discusses appropriate next steps, which may include monitoring, further evaluation, recommendations or referral.
